Fjord Studio is a creative studio specializing in curating and producing light art projects.

From projections onto landmark buildings, intimate installations, site-specific light sculptures and immersive video, our work is a broad exploration of light art. Together with our artists and clients, we are dedicated to bringing the best of contemporary light art to the public.

We collaborate with prominent international artists and new talent, experienced technical teams, and international partners with a common vision to create meaningful, inspiring, and memorable experiences of light and art.

Our studio developed from our light art festival Fjord Oslo and our fascination for light in the north. From 2020 the work of our team has expanded to conceptualizing, producing, and communicating different kinds of temporary and permanent projects in the intersection of art and technology - in Norway and internationally.

Anastasia Isachsen

Artistic Director

Anastasia is a visual artist. She is internationally recognized for her video art for projections and light design for various cultural projects: installations, concerts, theatre, dance performances and exhibitions. 

Frank Isachsen

CEO & Founder

Frank has a background in economics and finance, with many years’ experience as a project leader in complex international projects. During the last years he has produced several light art projects for Fjord Studio.

Martin Mathisen

Technical Director

Martin has been working in large scale indoor and outdoor productions since the nineties. He has extensive experience as a technician, crew chief, production manager, project leader, arena manager, security specialist and a producer.
