Fjord Geiranger is a unique art and nature experience that transforms Geiranger into a large-scale, outdoor light art landscape.

With a magical atmosphere created by light art in nature, Fjord Geiranger invites everyone to a social, strong and inclusive experience of art, light and nature in one of the most spectacular destinations in Norway.

Fjord Geiranger is a light art festival where site-specific works of art use nature: the mountainsides, waterfalls, water and trees as important elements in art.

The second edition became a spellbinding, mystical and magnificent experience and presented 6 artworks by artists from 3 countries: light installations, video projections, lighting in nature and original soundscape.

TRACES was the theme of the concept for the second edition of Fjord Geiranger and was inspired by water. Using light, video art and sound, TRACES interpreted and conveyed Geiranger's history where the unique landscape has been formed by water for millions of years.
